Odem Group Of Companies Ltd. is seeking to fill our Sales Associate position with an enthusiastic, career-minded, individual, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork. This position reports to the Business Development Officer and has responsibility for assisting with the many facets of the sales and marketing effort including supporting sales goals, across Odem divisions i.e brands, business, creative media, community, foundation, and publishing.

 

Odem Company supports our Associates by:

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

 

Required Qualification:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated experience working in a sales or marketing team environment

  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills

  • Above average desktop computer skills with experience in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint,

  • Diploma or Bachelors Degree and one-year experience in sales, marketing, and/or

   business development.

 

As part of the sales team your primary duties will include:

  • Increase sales

  • Facilitate client requirements meetings – both in-person and/or remotely using current

   online presentation applications

  • Report weekly sales forecasts

  • Develop market analysis to identify customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates

  • Stay current with client needs, competition, and industry trends

  • Deliver sales presentations/proposals to prospective clients with a successful closing rate

  • Develop and manage client & company relationships

  • Evaluate accounts

  • Manage projects to make sure that they get completed in a timely manner 

  • Responsible for assisting with sales/marketing and advertising campaigns

  • Maintain active participation and membership in networking organizations

Graphic Artist

POSITION:  GRAPHIC ARTIST

JOB DESCRIPTION 

   

The graphic artist is responsible for creating design solutions that have a high visual impact. Their designs are required for a huge variety of products and activities, such as websites, advertising, books, magazines, posters, computer games, product packaging, exhibitions and displays, corporate communications and corporate identity, i.e. giving organizations a visual 'brand'.

The graphic artist works to a brief agreed with the client, creative director, or account manager. They develop creative ideas and concepts, choosing the appropriate media and style to meet the client's objectives.   The work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software, and a professional approach to time, costs, and deadlines.

 

Typical work activities

The graphic artist's job may involve managing more than one design brief at a time and allocating the relevant amount of time according to the value of the job. Typical activities include:

  • meeting clients or account managers to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job;

  • interpreting the client's business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose;

  • estimating the time required to complete the work and providing quotes for clients;

  • developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research;

  • thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts;

  • using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time;

  • presenting finalized ideas and concepts to clients or account managers;

  • working with a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design (CAD);

  • proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work;

  • contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief;

  • demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches;

  • working on layouts and artwork pages ready for print;

  • keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as InDesign, QuarkXPress, FreeHand, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3ds Max, Acrobat, Director, Dreamweaver, and Flash;

  • developing interactive design;

  • commissioning illustrators and photographers;

  • working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, illustrators, other designers, account executives, web developers, and marketing specialists.

Social Media Moderator

POSITION:  SOCIAL MEDIA MODERATOR

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and developing online content maps for all start-up projects;

Title: Account Executive

Salary: Negotiable based on Experience. 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

You are very organised and able to multi-task and work under pressure. You have past experience working with advertising campaigns and is great at executing marketing plans. You are a team player and you are able to work with diverse groups i.e. artists, developers, copywriters, managers and clients. You are happy working independently and appreciate the opportunity to apply your own creativity to the job. You have good business judgment, and is comfortable working with budgets.

Responsibilities:

ü Act as a link between clients and the agency;

ü understand clients' needs and objectives and liaise closely with them throughout campaigns on a daily basis;

ü manage administrative and campaign work and ensure that advertising projects are completed on time and on budget;

ü prospecting for new clients and new business;

ü meeting and liaising with clients to discuss and identify their advertising requirements;

ü working with agency colleagues i.e. graphic artists, web developers, online personnel, copywriters to devise an advertising campaign that meets the client's brief and budget;

ü presenting, alongside agency colleagues (particularly the account manager), the campaign ideas and budget to the client;

ü working with the account manager to brief media, creative and research staff, and assisting with the formulation of marketing strategies;

ü liaising with, and acting as the link between, the client and advertising agency by maintaining regular contact with both, ensuring that communication flows effectively;

ü negotiating with clients and agency staff about the details of campaigns;

ü presenting creative work to clients for approval or modification;

ü handling budgets,

ü sales promotional ideas and initiatives to increase revenue

ü develop a client and marketing network base including media and other industry players; ü writing client reports;

ü monitoring the effectiveness of campaigns;

ü undertaking administration tasks;

ü arranging and attending meetings;

ü social media marketing on behalf of ODEM Creative Media and ODEM Business Consulting clients as the need arises;

ü communicating with printers, and other creative company to produce and execute campaigns;

ü making 'pitches', along with other agency staff, to try to win new business for the agency.
