We offer our services to the public based on strong ethical beliefs, positive business principles and a passion for social entrepreneurship. We aim to use our products and services to "Establish Heritage" that will influence our local community and the world in the areas of business, media, arts, and entertainment, education, and the family.
ODEM started out as an idea in 2005 while our founder freelanced on a part-time basis. The idea was put on hold for 3-4 years as she gained much-needed experience in a renowned advertising agency. It was during that time that she had an epiphany of what she terms "What's really wrong with advertising..." This she explains is a lack of strategy beyond momentary impactful messages, and in 2014 she sought to fix this. Therefore, we are a team that is happy that our founder did not give up on her concept and vision of a company that would “marry strategy and creativity and use these areas to fuel business success." We exist because of the Grace of God and one woman's tenacity that enabled her to continue to rework, change, and rebrand different areas of the business until she developed a practical way that her ideas could be integrated into complete service offerings that would not only become viable but would also be of benefit to society. She also leveraged her freelancing relationships and service-oriented attitude to attract business. To date, The ODEM Group has maintained a small man attitude to relationships and service where every business encounter matters. This approach is set alongside a conglomerate vision where high output and productivity is paramount.
The company is semi-virtual and provides its day-to-day services through a team of five, whose expertise and experience spans marketing, advertising, PR, account management, sales, and finance. Our extended team is made up of Designers, Consultants, Entrepreneurs, Trainers, and Facilitators who are either contracted on a full-time basis or act as an outsource partner when the need arises. Operating a marketing and consulting company is both challenging and exciting, our model pulls together talent from across the world and we actively partner with other industry experts to fulfil our clients’ needs based on high value, low-cost structure. Our main teams operate from Trinidad and Jamaica, with our Admin Office based in Port Of Spain, Trinidad.
